Skyline Park
Last year work began on a children’s fishing pond and walking trail system in the area behind Hillcrest School. The Council of Commissioners has officially named the park Skyline Park, which should be complete in June 2014. In partnership with Skyline Sportsman’s Association, Butte-Silver Bow was awarded a grant from the Natural Resource Damage program to build the park. Interpretive signage makes this park an ideal outdoor classroom setting for area students. Cfwep.Org will host a teacher professional development workshop in conjunction with the official park opening in June. Teachers will receive approximately $100 in classroom materials and continuing education credits for attending the training.
