May 24, 2018 – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – 5th Annual Clean Up Blacktail Stream (CUBS) Day

 

Join the Clark Fork Watershed Education Program, community volunteers, and students from Whittier Elementary, West Elementary, and East Middle School to help improve stream habitat for fish as well as the overall appearance of Blacktail Stream for the Butte Community. Businesses and community members are encouraged and needed to join the effort!

8:30 AM – 2:30 PM (Lunch Provided!)
Two Locations to start From:
-Father Sheehan Park
-The Butte Chamber of Commerce

Volunteers will:

  • Help over 240 kids participate in clean-up efforts
  • Assist with educational games for kids
  • Assist with stream clean-up
  • Engage kids in a trail-wide art project
