Volunteers play a key role in helping Ripple accomplish its mission. As a nonprofit, we rely on volunteers to implement our programming and reach as many students as possible. We are incredibly grateful for the incredible volunteers who have dedicated their time and energy to helping Ripple do our work.
What can Volunteers Expect?
Volunteers help Ripple with K-12 programming. Depending on the type of volunteer opportunity, you can expect to help with topics in watershed science (biology, chemistry, geology, etc.), environmental education, and place-based education. Volunteers need not have experience in these topics. You will also help ensure the safety of students and may be subject to a background check.
