Show us your creativity and love for the Earth in our Earth Month Art Challenge!

Challenge Details

Between April 22-May 22, send us your art inspired by our beautiful planet! Share your work with us on social media by tagging @cfwep and #CFWEPEarthMonth, or send it via email to Melissa Wanamaker at mwanamaker@mtech.edu. We will feature our favorites on our social media throughout the month and make a slideshow of all submissions at the end of the challenge.

Free Chalk!

CFWEP will be handing out chalk to use for the challenge to the first 100 aspiring Chalk Artists (of any age!) to visit the Carpenter’s Union Hall Earth Month exhibit during the First Friday Uptown Butte Art Walk on May 6.

Earth Month Art Exhibit

On May 6, there will be a Earth Month Art Exhibit at Carpenters Union Hall during the First Friday Uptown Butte Art Walk. Open call for submissions. Please make sure art is ready for display. Limit 1-5 pieces per artist.  You may offer your work for sale with a suggested donation of 10% to CFWEP and 10% to Butte America Foundation. One hundred free sidewalk chalk kits will be given out at the event in celebration of springtime and Earth Month. Contact: Daniel Hogan at DPHogan12@gmail.com for more information.

Pollinator Hotels Craft Day

Learn how to make pollinator hotels for the insects responsible for pollinating our flowers and vegetables. Event will be lead by Christine Martin at the IBRC (Date TBD) Contact Christine at cmartin@bsb.mt.org for more information.
